The Sri Lankan Sustainability Awards (SSA) is a pioneering initiative conceptualized to recognize and celebrate sustainability excellence across the construction ecosystem. SSA is aligned with global climate goals and national development priorities, offering an inclusive platform to honor individuals, organizations, and products/systems demonstrating sustainability leadership, innovation, and impact.

Award Categories
The Sri Lankan Sustainability Awards (SSA) 2026 recognizes excellence across more than 50 sustainability categories covering construction, built environment, energy, technology, infrastructure, manufacturing, logistics, finance, media, education, community development, and leadership.
Eligibility & Who Can Nominate
Nominations are open to organizations, institutions, government agencies, NGOs, projects, professionals, entrepreneurs, and industry leaders who have demonstrated measurable contributions towards sustainability and responsible development practices in Sri Lanka.

Judging Process
Applications will be evaluated by an independent panel of distinguished judges comprising academics, industry experts, and professionals from internationally recognized institutions. Entries will be assessed based on innovation, sustainability impact, measurable outcomes, scalability, governance, and contribution to society and the environment.
